eCampus4learn’s didactic offer gives teachers and professors freedom to choose targeted strategies, specific material, more functional exercises and delivery methods, because eCampus4learn believes that new technologies should be at the service of education.

COURSES AND LEARNING OBJECTS

  • The services and tools offered by the eCampus4learn platform are a valuable aid for teaching staff, as they enable teachers and subject matter experts to optimise the preparation time of lessons and teaching materials through macro and micro design programmes (EPPI).
  • The certification system allows the professors to certify that the individual learning objects that make up the course, and thus the entire course comply with the SCORM standard. Furthermore, it guarantees the protection of the copyright of the learning material itself.

MANAGING AND SHARING RESOURCES

  • Professors can share teaching materials with students and other teachers, produce and manage multimedia resources, compile and check minutes online by validating them with a digital signature, correct and validate in-progress tests, view the dates of examinations and check the list of exam takers.
  • As further support, eCampus4learn offers a forum for online tutors and professors to exchange tips, methodologies and processes to facilitate the transition from the traditional to the online and/or blended learning environment.

ONLINE OFFICE HOURS

  • The online office hours area has a synchronous and an asynchronous mode. The former faithfully replaces presential office hours, as it takes place in video conference and in live chat modality, and respects the days and times set by the professor. The second takes place through a messaging system, very similar to an e-mail system, which allows the professor to reply at any time of the day.

RAD (TEACHING ACTIVITY REGISTER)

To further facilitate the professors’ work and help them keep track of their activities at all times, eCampus4learn provides a self-compilatory activity register, which can take the data concerning the individual professor from the other sections of the VLE and automatically compile a register with all the activities performed. Furthermore, the RAD allows the professors to keep track of their situation at all times, accompanied by personal statistical averages for both the faculty and the university (number of appointments made, seminars convened, days spent compiling minutes, number and status of L.O.’s produced, …).
