eCampus4Learn e-Portfolio

A fundamental application of the eCampus system, the e-Portfolio was created to facilitate the students’ educational experience. Constantly accessible, as it is installed on a web server, it allows each student to create a personal environment where they can progressively archive the tests taken during the courses and end-of-activity tests, so that the teacher can not only view the exercises at a later date, but also enter an overall assessment and/or individual notes. Students will also be able to keep the notes and documents (audio, video, presentations, etc.) they consider most significant, on which they can then reflect personally or share with their teacher via the Web Disk. This innovative file sharing unit allows the sending and exchange of large documents that would otherwise not be supported by common email services or that would slow down the normal functioning of the server. The e-Portfolio has been designed to accompany students throughout their lives, allowing them 24-hour access to their CVs, saved documents, career and qualifications, Web Disk, and, last but not least, social media, a tool for sharing their educational experiences with all other university students.

The introduction of social media as a teaching tool in the e-Portfolio allows for fruitful interaction among students, who participate in the learning process in a pleasant and natural way, exchanging information and ideas and helping each other in their intellectual growth.

ASSESSMENT AND ANALYSIS

eCampus4Learn has decided to provide students with a tool for sharing documents for educational purposes, allowing both students and their teachers to monitor their educational progress through constant assessment and analysis of test results. This makes it possible to identify improvements, but above all to focus on and address any difficulties encountered in individual courses.

MOBILE E-PORTFOLIO APPLICATION

Breaking down the barriers to classroom learning is another challenge that eCampus4Learn has succeeded in overcoming, thanks to applications for tablets and mobile phones, making it possible to access the platform and its services anytime, anywhere.

WEB DISK

Designed to solve problems associated with sharing large files, the web disk supports e-Portfolio activities. Documents can be uploaded with a simple selection process and can only be downloaded by the recipient and deleted by the sender. As a further guarantee of privacy, the eCampus4Learn web disk allows access to downloadable documents only by entering a security code.
