ECCE
ECCE is the eCampus4Learn programme which allows the professors to manage examinations electronically, facilitating the creation, administration and correction of examinations. This programme is a key tool in online teaching, as it simplifies the entire examination management process, making it more accessible and efficient for both students and professors.
ECCE allows the candidates to create customized exams, choosing from various question types (true/false, multiple choice or open answers). Specifically, the software allows professors to:
- create and upload examination questions, define their assessment criteria, and administer examinations to students remotely;
- define your own set of examination questions from which to select those that will constitute the test.
- sort questions and answers differently for different students enrolled in the same examination.
Furthermore, the programme provides for the possibility to use auto-correction functions for closed answers, allowing teachers to save time. For open-ended answers, teachers can provide customized feedback and detailed evaluations, including tools to annotate answers directly on the platform.
Examinations can be conducted directly on the online platform, allowing students to participate from anywhere, while maintaining a high level of security. The platform can include the use of monitoring software or time limits for answers.
In general, ECCE is a key resource for the eCampus4Learn system, as it improves the efficiency, flexibility and quality of the examination experience for all participants. It also helps to optimize the work of professors, who can concentrate more on teaching and less on administrative management.
