The eCampus4Learn learning environment: create, discover, explore, connect and share
The online learning model promoted by eCampus4Learn is a continuous training process that uses network technologies to design, distribute, select, manage and extend learning. This process focuses on dynamism, modularity and interactivity, the main elements in the design of networkable content, which strips the education system of its traditional, static guise of courses distributed indiscriminately to all students. In the new educational vision of eCampus4Learn, the educational solutions are centred on the students, who will be involved in a virtual environment that supports and guides them step by step, stimulating them to interact with professors and other students, to encourage the creation of collective learning contexts in both online and blended modes (forums, blogs, e-Portfolios, telephone support, seminars, etc.).
The eCampus4Learn VLE makes use of:
- a content management and visualization software (CMS);
- an application platform for the delivery of courses and learning objects (LMS);
- a set of tools for collaborative teaching;
- a student administration office to fulfil all administrative and bureaucratic tasks;
- activity registers for the collection and certification of all activities carried out.
With a high quality of educational offers and the innumerable potential of its platform, eCampus4Learn challenges current conventions of both traditional and virtual learning.
